Two Professional Growth Opportunities in Outdoor Learning

FOR ALL TEACHERS
The WBSD is fortunate to have an Outdoor Classroom, the 36-acre registered school forest that is located off Decorah Road just east of the high schools. West Bend classes can visit this area for authentic interdisciplinary learning experiences. To support access to learning at the outdoor classroom and to enhance your opportunities to lead students in natural study in the school-yard, two wonderful professional growth opportunities are offered free of charge to West Bend teachers.

Project Learning Tree, LEAF, and KEEP will offer two workshops right at our Outdoor Classroom to enhance your knowledge base and your students' opportunities. Please click HERE to get more details on how to sign up for Project Learning Tree and Forest Health and the Energy Connection (LEAF and KEEP).

West Bend teachers can attend for free and will receive free resources. Special thanks to Rachel Feerick, scientist in residence, for arranging this wonderful opportunity.
